Not sure which part of my hypothetical situation alluded you, but perhaps I didn't make that clear.

Regardless, him mentioning her as a Veep candidate that actually happened is, again, pandering. Obama was and continues to be a popular figure. And Michele benefits from that by proxy. She's still a popular figure herself.

But Biden would never pick her for VP though as much as he talks. She's not impeachment insurance. The Democrats would have hung him out to dry two years ago if Michelle Obama was waiting in the wind.

You responded to a post from @rekinhavoc, which claimed that Joe Biden had mentioned Michelle Obama as potentially being chosen to fill a Supreme Court vacancy. You replied that it was pandering. However, you were replying to a lie. Joe Biden has never mentioned Michelle Obama as a possible appointment to the Supreme Court. You accepted what @rekinhavoc said at face value, and then ran with it. You gave no scrutiny to his claim. You didn't fact check it. You just accepted it as being an established fact, and then ignorantly commented on it.

So what if he didn't mention the SCOTUS. You brought to light him mentioning the VP spot. Which is way, way, way higher than the SCOTUS.

Now, you're free to admit Biden panders by bringing Michelle Obama into the conversation.

The Supreme Court was what @rekinhavoc was talking about. He wasn't talking about anything Biden said in 2020. He said that Biden had mentioned her possibly filling a Supreme Court seat, if he was re-elected. That is not true.

Your reply assumed that it was true, and then you commented on it. That is part of what makes this forum an echo chamber. You guys assume that every post amongst yourselves is factual, and then you comment on it. Your comment is then expanded by a reply with additional commentary.

It becomes one big circle jerk.

No, he didn't. The IRS decided to start cracking down on 401C-3 nonprofits that are not supposed to engage in political activities to maintain
their tax-exempt status and yet there are numerous conservative non-profits that were ignoring this regulation and continue to ignore it. The IRS
should go after them again.

I laugh at right-wingers/MAGA who, in response to all the law-breaking by the gangster, try constantly to lump Biden, Clinton and Obama in with him. Get real: those three are near-saints compared to the gangster--fact. Obama has far more integrity than most Republicans, and the gangster clearly belongs
in prison.

Not surprisingly, you are confused. If a candidate says he will do what the gangster said he would do, he is talking about policy. He means that he will try to pursue similar policies--BUT at the same time he WON'T break laws, won't abuse power as president, won't get impeached twice, won't try to subvert a U.S. election, won't get American police officers killed inciting an attack on the U.S. Capitol (two of the most disgraceful episodes in American history), won't keep national security documents that don't belong to me and then lie about it, won't profit from the presidency and commit numerous other acts of obvious and blatant corruption, won't spew self-serving bull$hit 24/7, won't kowtow to America's chief adversary--the war criminal in Moscow--and won't make a mockery of the office of the president. It's not hard to understand what is meant...at least for most people. People who still support the gangster are beneath contempt and apparently have no respect for the rule of law and ethics themselves.

We may never have had one, who knows take time to research it on your time. However the crimes that Trump committed far exceed the Constitutional laws governing our nation. He is very fortunate that we are a civilized nation because he would have taken out by now and convicted posthumously. Just a thug wanting to be King. I don't have time for that. You are seeing some Republicans trying to save him to save their own souls. Have other Presidents exceeded the laws of the Constitution sure they have. Trump's actions compared to other Presidents is not even close. Protect him all you want. He is not good for this country and him rotting in jail is only a fraction of what he deserves. I will not be voting Democrat in 2024 still wondering what the Republican Plan is because I believe that they will get a Trump conviction and remove him from the ballot based on the 14th Amendment.

I've never protected or supported Trump and I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for a president who respects the constitution.
