Witnesses recounting conversations with him wherein he said Trump told him to get the server erased. Add to that the circumstantial evidence of phone calls between the two right before DeOliveria told people Trump had so directed.

That’s hearsay in a trial against Trump. Can’t think of an applicable exception off top of my head. Not sure if it’s enough to sever the cases.

Otherwise seems like a circumstantial case. Pretty strong motive for Nauta to act alone since he knows he’s on video moving the boxes.

Thinking tactically, it may be to drive a wedge between Nauta and Trump. Trump’s best defense in this case is to throw Nauta under the bus and Nauta has to know it.

It's amazing how much some of you idiots are hoping so badly Trump goes to prison. I can't stand the fugger, but i dont believe he'll be going to prison. Yes, his actions would have him locked up in a Federal Prison until he passes were he a regular citizen. His presidency gives him some leniency as to sentence.
