The DeSantis containment thread -- all things DeSantis go here

You can use Google as well as I can. You guys act as though you are helpless to find information.

Ok smarty pants. I just know you love to post links to reinforce your narrative.
I will do it for you and I am sure it will be quite a waste of money for the stupid radical agenda.

Looks like a slush fund for state governments. You know how you guys wined abut lack of spending accountability with Trump

However, unlike the Recovery Act or the CARES Act, the bill did not provide for coordinated, independent oversight of this funding. The bill exhorted federal agencies “to establish sufficient transparency, accountability reporting and oversight measures” for specific programs (such as the digital equity grant program related to broadband). But as Professor Jetson Leder-Luis points out, the bill did not focus on the potential for fraud, and “the word fraud appeared only seven times in the 2000-page bill.”

For one thing, the bill passed with bi-partisan support. Some Republicans will vote against any legislation during a time when Democrats control both chambers of Congress and the Presidency ... but the Build Back Better Act had substantial Republican support - and involves much needed improvement to roads and bridges in so-called "red states" as well - including the Gulf Coast regions of Mississippi and Louisiana. You really think of infrastructure improvements as being a "stupid radical agenda?" LOL. That is very telling.

There will be no shortage of Republicans who voted against the infrastructure bill, taking credit for it's projects, once they have been completed. In fact, that has already happened.

There will be unrelated items and "pork" in any such bill. That is the reality of the federal government.

Trailing in the polls, looking to reboot his campaign, this is where my governor chooses to make his mark.

This country has bigger fish to fry than another BS culture war.

DeSantis seeks review of Florida's holdings in Bud Light maker over transgender influencer backlash
Culture war is all he has; it makes up his entire playbook. It's going to be impossible to get home insurance here in a couple years, but petty squabbles with Disney and grandstanding around InBev are more important to him.

Thought DeSantis was truly going to be the nominee. His culture war fight is going to be his downfall.
