Prison, not a chance. House arrest, slim chance. Found guilty, maybe. Felony conviction is not a disqualifier for the presidency.

It's WAY past time for MAGA to recognize that the gangster is a frightfully bad human being who is COMPLETELY corrupt, mentally ill, and COMPLETELY unfit for ANY public office, much less the White House. That there are rubes who still support the man is also frightening---people who have seriously lost their way.

Trump has not even been convicted and some states are looking at the 14th Amendment to remove him from the ballot....this is the mess we are in today due to a dysfunctional govt...I blame Congress mostly...You don't have to like the POTUS but you should always respect the office no matter who is serving in that position. Trump made this about him and not the office...

You're assessment of Trump is spot-on but his base will never abandon him which is precisely why MAGA is considered a cult.

NFW an attempt to use the 14th amendment to keep him off the ballot would stand a court challenge. They can look all they want but that dog won't hunt.

I too blame congress, for over a century congress has passed laws increasing the size, scope and power of the federal government and then ceded much of it to the executive so they didn't have to take a stand and risk losing reelection.

The person sitting in the oval office shouldn't matter to the average American, they should have little to no impact on our daily lives and this dysfunction will never stop until the federal government doesn't matter to the work-a-day American.
