You're right: Bush, Romney and McCain are/were men of integrity and experience who respected America's institutions and our democratic foundation. They weren't dishonest, corrupt, stupid, seditious megalomaniacs who break laws, rules and protocols and who try to undermine our democracy.

When the Repubs quit labeling anyone that isn't bat-sheet as RINOs and have actual candidates that will attract independents, then they may have a path back to the Oval.

There are so few independent voters they have almost no impact on elections. The vast majority of voters are party line voters and voters who vote for the candidate promising them free shot.

McCain and Romney had zero integrity and there was nothing honorable about them, Bush II was slightly better than those scum bags but not by much. None gave 2 craps about our "democratic foundation" but you are 100% correct about them respecting our government institutions, they all coveted the power our institutions provided them.

I would lay even money they are going to try to get Trump on RICO for Jan 6. In one sense, its the only thing they can charge (even though its crazy that they would even think to). On the other hand, if you can establish RICO, its almost impossible to get away from. Thats why they have focused on all the convictions of the protestors first. They will claim Trump was head of the conspiracy.

And he lost that case and his only other high profile case was overturned, so she wasn't completely wrong or even wrong about most of it.
