I guess you find it too hard to believe that a Republican is not a Trump Fan or is not a MAGA Trump believer. "Make America Great Again" "Lock her Up" and "Drain the Swamp" were superb slogans replaced by "I am the Victim", "the Election was Rigged", "I Built a Wall", "She is not my type", "I am the Greatest of all time", "I am innocent", "I made a lot of People Rich" and the list goes on and on. Statements you heard but accomplishments were few and not statements you hear from a leader of the most powerful nation on earth. The only way Trump beats you is by insults and deflection of the truth. All of which are lies.
All used by a showman to promote himself. Under Trump we became a nation of fear because of the psychopath in charge. There is nothing Great about becoming a nation that is not respected because of it's incompetent leadership.

You tell yourself that it is better today because of Trump or Biden then you have no interest in seeing this nation succeed. So close your eyes and kept ignoring the reality of the situation.

I would probably be a Democrat (temporarily) if they had any candidate worth the time, effort and a plan of getting this country back to center governing politics vs the extremes of politics. I am a Republican, raised that way and will remain that way but I will not support an idiot like Trump. I am just looking for any candidate to step up to the plate at the moment and the field is weak. You can stay on that Trump train and drink the kool aid hollering foul by spreading the " I am innocent" slogan. Don't forget to donate to his legal fund and his back pocket. He has you right were he wants you --- believing all the BS he spews.

The day after the raid last August, Trump sent out a personally penned letter, on his truth social bs website, stating the classified documents had been planted by the FBI. Why was this his first defense? Of course, his defense soon changed that the documents had been declassified. And of course, at the end of his letter, there was a button to punch to donate to him.

He'll write a book sometime in the next couple of years as to how easy it was to con so many millions of Americans to vote for him and pony up millions to finance him.

He made up a new law out of thin air on Saturday at some conference for suckers. While whining about his indictment, he said "whatever documents a president decides to take with him, he has the absolute and unquestioned right to do so." "This was a law that was passed and signed," he added. "And it couldn't be more clear."

Of course, no such law exists. And like everything Trump says, the opposite is actually the truth.

We're already a laughingstock for the rest of the world for electing POS, unfit clowns in our last two Presidential elections. Both were elected because most were voting against the other candidate. That some people can't grasp that fact is bewildering. To me, anyway. If Trump gets elected again the laughingstock factor will shoot through the roof. I live in Tennessee so I already know all of our electoral votes will go to the Republican nominee. I would be ok with a Tim Scott -Chris Christie ticket. If, for obvious reasons, Biden steps down, I wouldn't mind a Michelle Obama - Condi Rice ticket!🤣

That would send these right wing, echo chamber dwellers to the Funny Farm

The best part of all this is that in 2018 Trump signed a law that increased the penalty for “unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material.” Before then, people guilty of the then-misdemeanor crime faced a maximum of one year in prison. After Trump changed it, that max penalty is now five years, making it a felony charge.

Next, I don't agree with every Carlson position. Do I agree with a lot of them - yes but I like constitution principled people who are willing to challenge the status quo.

He is a libertarian. Most don't remember him criticizing the Trump administration because we have short attention spans and a recency bias.

When you're on top you will have your detractors. People hated on Jordan too. I was one of them because I didn't like the Bulls. It doesn't change the fact that he is the most recognizable brand in all of sports.

that line of thinking is immature. We need all the votes we can get. Simply because someone doesnt agree on everything doesnt mean they can't work with us to defeat a greater threat to us both. Keep your ideological purity for advocacy and rallies but getting people elected is the cold ruthless truth of politics.

True Gandalf but SI seems too far gone. He's in the line of a Bush, Cheney, McCain Republican. The hate for Trump is as thick as fog. He's already a soft Biden/Harris voter. Imagine that. The two dumbest goons to ever grace the WH. A crew that has weaponized and expanded government. No conservative would consider those trojan horses as the country continues the decent into the abyss.

I hope it's someone other than Trump on the Republican side, but a re-election of Biden/Harris means they are coming after the average conservative next. They will attempt to cheat to get there.

Never Trumpers who are bush republicans also have to be mature enough to see even though they may loathe Trump, he will not do near the damage to their ideals as the people who are running Biden. The old guard are only partially in charge of the Dems anymore. You have the World Economic Forum on one side and Antifa on the other working to establish a totalitarian Orwellian state. So to your thinking, the GOP should elect socialists and the dems wouldn't have to. Of course, that would allow the dems to shift further left since the GOP would be sidling down to meet them. If you elect the Romney/McCain types you might as well elect a dem in the first place. Maybe you don't get "If you don't stand for something, then you stand for nothing."

Don't worry for the Record I will never vote for a Biden Ticket but I will not vote for a Trump Ticket as well. We are 1+ out from the election and a lot can and will happen between now and then.

The bolded part is where your logic is off. While the Repubs are trying to out-crazy each other and move further to the right, the Dems are able to still attract the majority of independents.

Why? Because whether you like or hate Biden, you have to give him credit for keeping the far left of his part (think AOC, etc.) in the fold, while still positioning himself close enough to the center to attract independents.

When the Repubs quit labeling anyone that isn't bat-sheet as RINOs and have actual candidates that will attract independents, then they may have a path back to the Oval.
