The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

When you march around with a bunch of men wearing face coverings and holding torches and shields, you may be fairly described
as a "white trash loser."

The yearly security training that I’ve now gotten via two employers since I’m contracting back where I used to work has a similar phrase clearly stating that all classified information remains the property of the United States. No other office, entity, or person is mentioned.

Here’s the definition of a personal record under the PRA:
‘(A) diaries, journals, or other personal notes serving as the functional equivalent of a diary or journal which are not prepared or utilized for, or circulated or communicated in the course of, transacting Government business;

(B) materials relating to private political associations, and having no relation to or direct effect upon the carrying out of constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties of the President; and

(C)materials relating exclusively to the President’s own election to the office of the Presidency; and materials directly relating to the election of a particular individual or individuals to Federal, State, or local office, which have no relation to or direct effect upon the carrying out of constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties of the President.’

I just don’t think that creates a contradiction or reasonable belief of something different to what you just said.

I seriously doubt any training related to contractor security clearance holders would even broach the topic of POTUS personal papers. And one could probably argue that the WH lunch menu for the week warranted classifying just on basic op-sec if the SS had their say.

But that theme, all classified information remains the property of the United States, was prevalent throughout my career. It is admittedly anecdotal. It’s also what bit Comey on the ass in his excuses for keeping his memos. But surprisedly to him and his bloated ego he wasn’t as powerful as the office of POTUS.

It isn’t just anecdotal though. There are laws that say you can’t retain certain documents when the government tells you to fork them over or if you know you should fork them over, it’s the law Trump is charged under.

What I’m saying that the PRA seems to be what everybody has focused on (since Trump burned the tree out from under the magical declassification limb that some people crawled out on) as making a former president different from, say, a government contractor. But if you look at the definition of personal records, it doesn’t seem to apply.

Not everybody who is legally ****ed gets convicted, and he’s probably got a better chance than most, but I think he’s legally ****ed.

I’m not disagreeing with you nor am I defending Trump. I’ve stated multiple times I don’t buy his schtick on why he possessed those documents. There is zero valid reasons for him to possess an attack plan on Iran after he left office for example. Much less run his big mouth bragging about it and showing it to people. Absolutely stupid as hell and criminal as far as I’m concerned.. My own example was anecdotal however I believe aligns with what you’ve posted.

Funny, but I don't remember the protestors - the ones with the permit - being masked or carrying shields. They did have Tiki torches though. There were a lot of crazies in both sides of the counter and counter-counter protestors. The counter protestors were the ones who first showed up masked and being generally obnoxious - you know the Antifa and the mostly peaceful, gay (happy kind), proud liberal crowd. Now I will agree that a short tubby guy in camo shorts with black socks and boots is pretty offensive though ... hint: he's not the masked guy with the makeshift flamethrower.

Protestors:

Yep not seeing masks and shields in that group, but check out your mostly peaceful lefty counter protestors - definitely seeing some masks and weapons there, and consider if they just stayed home and let the guys with the permit do their thing and go home. Almost like what if you threw a war an nobody came?

The one qualification might be that pretty much anyone visiting the president is there for political purposes ... even photo ops with winning teams aren't completely benign politically. You'd think visitor logs, journals, and notes might be the evidence needed to show that a president traded favors for campaign donations or whatever. Things like that might be considered favors, but to me they are more like bribes and paybacks. Considering the requirement that low level people in government can't even accept free meals etc from a contractor or potential contractor we should be holding the top to equal or tighter standards considering the potential cost to government is far higher.

Please explain in more detail what the Nazis Playbook is, because both parties are running the playbook pretty well. Enlighten us with your knowledge and insight.

The nazi's got the media behind them to promote their propaganda before they could enforce their propaganda. The news turned into a state reporting arm instead of independent journalism and evenhandedness. Tell us how both parties are running the playbook? An example will do the trick. I appreciate your feedback.

My favorite is when they call me a Nazi.

Or if you believe in fairness instead of race wars you must be a white supremacist. They update their language when it no longer makes sense and they look silly. It's like Biden transitioning from build back better to bidenomics like he's really an economist.

Show me how the dems are deifying a president and ignoring anything that doesn't line up with actual facts, then I'll stop being stupid. Until then, you should take your own advice. I full well understand what happened in the death camps, so don't assume because you had ancestors in them that no one else understands.

You don't like families directly impacted. These stories are fresh enough that the boomers would've been told details from survivors.

He wanted to carry on a petty feud with Mark Milley. That's just how Trump is. His ego and pride come first.

I agree on that.

You know, things have been so crazy the last 8 years or so that one could almost convince me that this whole thing has been orchestrated theater. Trump goes from doing behind the scenes handshake deal with politicians and even being friends with Hillary, if I recall correctly, to suddenly being the face of conservatives. Talk about bizarre.
