So what do you make of these cries of a two-tiered system where the poor black man is being locked up unfairly for minor tax issues while Hunter walks scot free?

I can't fix stupid. All anyone has to do is look at the record (without partisan glasses) and they will see the DOJs impartiality. I'm sure that there have been times in our history when it has done an administrations bidding but over the last few years I dare anyone to point out a case.

Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't - while I don't always agree with him, I also haven't put him into a box. I think the people who are screeching loudest about trump, hunter and the DOJ are also the trumpers who probably followed the Qanon thread with keen interest.

Do you think he was being sarcastic when he commented on this? I certainly didn't.

I'm not sure why we should expect the navy to come out and publicly announce a lot of things about information they obtained from their submarine surveillance program at all, let alone in conjunction with a civilian rescue mission.

Likewise, if the US Coast Guard knew the sub imploded by the Navy's findings they should not have stated they are hearing underwater noises giving false hope.

Did the fact that the navy heard what they assumed to be an explosion prove they were dead? Hell, if they'd announced the sub disappeared and they'd heard an explosion on Sunday; there'd just be a different conspiracy theory floating around. Probably something like a joint cia/Ukrainian mission to blow up the secret dominion election servers which had been hidden in the titanic.

The Navy said it was "consistent with an implosion". Given that, I would have tempered my comments.

I think this thread is like bizarro world.

Dems who believe that there is white privilege in the judiciary system are defending Hunter Biden likes it’s their job. Hunter Biden an elite rich white male is the pinnacle of everything Dems dislike and just basically walked free from a crime that a black male was imprisoned for.

Republicans who defend the thin blue line like it’s their job are offended that the justice system is freeing Hunter Biden from a crime. I guess “if he had only complied” didn’t work out in this case.
