Lmao. Hunter Biden was guilty of a real crime. A felony lie on his gun application and wilfully (for your public school education) means intent to defraud the IRS. Not just a little accidental oversight. And unlike your fictitious MSNBC talking points regurgitation.... Hunter Biden put evidence of his guilt on a freaking laptop all while being a deadbeat father. He is getting nothing in that after his probation (for what should be a slam dunk felony) after his probation will be able to purchase a firearm again.

Conservatives are so freaked out that they embarrass themselves--and the country--with all their pathetic conspiracy theories, with all the morons and crazies that they either elect or nominate for political office---starting with the vile, corrupt, disgraceful and dangerous human being that used to stink up the White House, a president who tried to subvert an election and got Americans killed in the process. Dems so spook conservatives/Republicans that the latter have ditched any moral and real American pretensions they used to have and are now more than happy to do /anything/--including ditch our democratic (lower case) principles to defeat Dems at the polls.

How many tax law experts did you see on MSNBC, CNN, NYT etc. that said no jail time plea is a normal punishment for a convicted felon with multiple Section 7203 violations?

You saw none because Hunter's deal just doesn't happen in the real world.

The DOJ tax web page has details of hundreds of tax cheats going to jail for 1 7203 violation. You don't see "probation" as a punishment in any of those.

Those matters include allegations Republicans have leveled in recent years that his business dealings and his well-compensated post on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma amounted to corruption or violated the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

“This is the end of it,” the person involved said, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss the private legal discussions.

This country has become a banana republic led by the Biden DOJ. Many predicted something shady like this would be in the works once they started itching closer to the Big Guy. They've been working on how to frame it, and the timing based on other politically motivated actions. They wrapped this up as quickly as possible after Hunter was subpoenaed to Arkansas.
