Four figures?! All dat NIL hubaloo and this is what people are angry about? Kids should get that for their pain and suffering
Well, pfft. Hayull, good on them. Really. Well deserved. It’s baseball, which is behind the other two major sports. I’d say it’s a pretty big announcement. Other than a few schools (like the one we are playing) and a few individuals here and there, baseball as a whole is behind in NIL.

If you want to catch real reds visit coastal NC and VA in late April to early May. Schools of hundreds between 40-50". I target them on kayak every year, smallest we've landed has been 42", largest 49"I am addicted to inshore fishing for reds...artificials only, no live or dead bait. I keep having people tell me to go to Louisiana for reds, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of challenge to catching them out there. I'll be going after them all next week in Florida and they spook easy in that clear water. Weather is looking rough all week, so I'm leaving the kayak and will be stuck to dock and wade fishing. Nowhere else I'd rather be despite the forecast. Should be some big trout this year too.
Catching bulls is fun, but I really love chasing slot reds inshore. It's something my 11 year old son can handle and he's really getting into it. My wife likes to fish too and what we do now is a good fit for everyone. I can't see my wife landing a bull red in her kayak...watching her land a 24" red by herself was entertaining enough. If you want to catch real reds visit coastal NC and VA in late April to early May.
