Watch,, it!! Health, exercise etc.

That really sucks
Lol. Yeah. It's got 28 different fields to change plus the 11 colors. And the colors are assigned by codes. I had to write down the ones I want to use so I don't have to keep going back and forth on screens. Fml.

you have probably triggered the quick launch feature (pressing the middle of the screen) by accident which is set to toggle through the color schemes by default.

apps.bliemel.net - Hold to launch

Please change the setting "Color Scheme" back to "Custom".

I have already uploaded a new version of the watch face which will launch the notification widget by default instead.

You can modify the quick launch function in the settings under "Quick Launch".

He also gave me the pay code to keep the watch face

I didn't think about that. I keep forgetting about quick launch. That makes perfect sense except for I have to press and hold for 2 seconds. Like this face I'm using now has 2 screens. When I press the middle of the screen or any of the icons, I have to press for 2 seconds (actually it's like 1.5 seconds) for it to change.

Anyway, it's cool you got it fixed and dude was cool.

i knew I could click on quick launch for the steps, battery and what not that the face shows. I didn’t know there was a way to change colors.

Update that NGAF about, prolly not even @volfanbill

I have a love/hate relationship with my watch. I love it except it does stupid crap on a regular basis and I'm tired of trying to figure it out.

Some mornings I select my running activity and when the screen comes on with my 3 fields, one of them is different from the setting. This happens every 3-4 days. For no apparent reason.

The gesture feature. 90% of the time it works perfectly and comes on immediately bright. But every once in awhile it comes on dim and gradually goes to bright. I'm talking maybe 3 seconds, but that ain't the point. It does this for no apparent reason.

The battery is phenomenal. I charge it once a week and it's usually on 32-38% when I charge it. That's with approximately 10 -12 hours of gps.

I’d love to have a battery a third as good.

But yeah, the usually it’s this way, but not always drives me nuts.

My gesture feature just sometimes doesn’t come on. Same 90% works as you, but I’ve never experienced the dim issue. Just either comes on or sits there dark

I've been curious to see how much faster it burned the battery on AOD during General use but never tried. I'm trying it now.

I put it on AOD at 8:00 with 59%. Without using GPS it normally burns approximately 1% every 6 hours. I'll see what happens.

@volfanbill just thought you'd be interested.

Still don't fully understand this Low Aerobic crap. I mean, I'm good and all and it's where it should be, but sometimes like this morning I dedicated 22 minutes of Low Aerobic walking. Kept my heart rate between the numbers (113-129) average during that time was 117. As you can see 19:18 was in that range. I started with 1015 and ended with 1015. WTFF???? Lol. Anyway, tonight I can do the exact same thing and it'll give the credit it should. IDK.

Another weird thing.

Thursday night I charged it to 100% at 9:15 pm. It always uses 2% overnight. Yesterday morning it was 98%. Last night at 10pm it was 96%. This morning at 5am it was 97%. Lol. I used the gps 3 hours from Thursday to right now and I have 95%.

Rounding error?

So instead of 2%/night, it actually uses 1.8%.

Night 1: 100%->98.2% (displays 98)
Night 2: 98.2%->96.4% (displays 96)
Night 3: 96.4%-94.6% (displays 95)
Night 4: 94.6%-92.8% (displays 93)

Or sumpin
Doesn't explain gaining 1% overnight and normally it uses 5% an hour while in gps mode, give or take a percentage. It's used 5% since Thursday night. Normally during that time it would have used about 21%.

Anyway, I'm not stressing over it like I normally would, and that's progress. Lol.

In other news, the Clifton 9's did excellent this morning. 6.44 miles and they felt great. I'm not saying it was the shoes, but I did record my best pace during the 5 miles @ 11:36. My previous best was 12:19.

Maybe this time next year I can run with the bigger dogs that are doing it under 10.

*edit: that 12:19 included a cool down 60 seconds that wasn't included in the 11:36.

@volfanbill FYI

New Garmin sports features rumored for smartwatches and Edge devices

Coming in July or August.

I'm very interested to see if the alarms/reminders is going to be tweaked more to my liking. If so, this could be major. For me anyway.

"The tools include Course Climbs, advanced filtering when selecting a workout and Garmin Connect alarms. Plus, tweaks to watch faces will allow you to view more data fields."

"You will also be able to set alarms or reminders via Garmin Connect on a broader range of smartwatches; this feature is already available for the Tactix 6 (delta) and Fenix 6 wearables."

The course climbs feature will be interesting, especially in my hikes. I hope the advanced filtering will give more info on gym workouts
