Gun control debate (merged)

I read that and said wtf. “Bullet holding magazine”. What else you gonna put in there, skittles?

Yeah... about that.

When we went out on an FTX years ago, one of the individuals we brought with us thought the mag pouches on their vest were ideally sized for candy bars.

AirForce what would you expect? They're for storing Copenhagen.
I remember people used to come into the convenience store I worked at decades ago and demanded that I open a new package of Copenhagen or Skoal because it was "fresh" even though they sold 50+ cans a day of the nasty stuff. I'd just say nope and some of them would walk out in a huff.
Do people still chew tobacco and snuff?

Yes, it is the hardest habit to break.

As a former smoker I can imagine. When I was working there were a few people that came to my office with that stuff in their mouth and would spit in my trash can and I was forced to smell it all day. I finally revolted and told the people that spit in my trash can to take the liner outside when they left and put it in the dumpster. People just don't realize that snuff flavored spit smell isn't exactly pleasant.

Poser...

That's the grenade pouch.

Before the vests we had your run of the mill web gear, 4 ammo pouches 3 for magazines and 1 for Copenhagen and other sundries, 2 canteen pouches and a butt pack. The 1 grenade pouch was for your compass.

What was funny is when we got the vests everyone set up the web belt the same way and the vest pouches were used for other things. Nobody put magazines in the vest pouches, that would hurt when you had to take a running dive.

9 cans per pouch unless you used butt pack. Worked perfect for the old 10 cans rolls. One in front pocket and 9 on web belt. Extra roll in aid bag for all the bumming grunts.
