@DinkinFlicka for good measure

TOOL at TBA in knoxvegas on Nov3rd.

Tix go on sale at 9am tomorrow. I am buying mine tomorrow. My boss is gonna come with me and bring foliage and fungus edibles...

And here I thought you were on the straight and narrow.

Well you'll have to holler at me when you roll in! We can chill before or after the show!

So, I have given 2 likes so far tonight in the political forum for no other reason than they made me laugh at the bar. I'm in the Philippines so it's not early. I feel dirty at this point though. One was for @McDad lol

So they had me working on a simple old analog motor current amplifier my first week. They’ve apparently been struggling with getting it functional for about a month. From looking at the test data I said it looked unstable. Took some time to make a simple model that validated my assumption. In an earlier review of the schematic I’d already identified some likely evil parts. I updated my model with removal of those parts and voila the model says its stable! Told the engineer which five capacitors to remove and test it Monday I’ll check emails Monday afternoon. Had the damn laptop not burped I’d likely have finished this in less than a full week after they’ve dicked around with it for a month. I think I’m earning my keep 😎

It's time to ask for a raise!

You're probably the only one there old enough to understand analog.

Nah @AM64 and @VolStrom get it too.

But with the stupid 💩 done to this one the same design done digitally would be unstable too.

And on thinking on it today I want to say I did a simple quick desktop review about a year and a half ago of this design (they’ve been screwing around a long time on this thing) before they released it for layout and told them to remove basically the same damn list of parts 🤷‍♂️

Oh well. More money for me.
