You mean fall in line with large shareholders like Blackrock and Vanguard who have majors shares in those companies.
Those two are tied to Target, Kohls and Disney stocks as two of the top holders in each. It’s not coincidenceI’m not specifically saying any particular firm, only that BODs are getting a lot of pressure to do ESG activities.
I’m also saying that, contrary to Mojo’s statement, execs aren’t simply automatons programmed to maximize their bonuses. They have pressures to deliver certain initiatives and I’m sure some feel a sense of moral obligation to push those forward.
However, the way they are talked about to the public is nothing more than window dressing. A casual observer might say “DEI” and sustainability are good for the bottom line. But that’s very different from how I’ve seen them talked about internally.
I’m not saying all of them don’t believe it’s the right thing to do…I’m sure many do. But when it comes time to show how you’re going to grow sales YoY or QoQ or forecast over forecast, I’ve never once seen any ESG initiative in the bridge. The only place I’ve ever seen them is OpEx detractors. That doesn’t usually help the bonus pool.

But the volume is different on their holdings. They are top holders in all these.

Conservative rap. I didn’t know such a thing existed.
Well it's not the catholic church, baptist church, Mormon church, or boy scout leaders. But obviously a trans person is the bigger fear.Who are the pervs, pedos, and groomers again?

"Libertarian": I'm a total laissez faire free market capitalist. The more competition, the better.
Target Boycotters: Yeah, same. People should know what they're supporting when they shop at Target.
"Libertarian": You bigots! Good luck finding a place to shop that shares your moral values!
Still waiting on your honest explanation on why you think this is a secret conspiracy as opposed to companies trying to squeeze pennies out of every possible market.
The age of consent is arbitrary. Is it not? One millennia 13 years old is good. This millennia 18 is the number.
While I agree with our general set of standards, it is arbitrary. So pedos, folks that engage in beastiality, etc are born that way and cannot be held accountable based on huffs logic. You can hide behind arbitrary morals, another choice, but it doesn't solidify the argument that these preferences are not choices and they are simply born that way. We can hold people that do not stick to our societal standards accountable by understanding that they are making choices. If it's natural, how can you look at beastiality as illegal or immoral?
I'll say it again cause I know there is a dweeb that will take it the wrong way. No I do not endorse pedophiles or people engaged in beastiality or necrophilia. My argument holds them accountable to their choice.
