Same format as last year. Teams in the winners bracket don’t play back to back days. The only possible doubleheader, which is what you’re thinking of, is an if-necessary game on Monday. Under the old format, a team coming out of the losers bracket would have to play doubleheaders on consecutive days. They also added a day off/weather day on Tuesday before the championship series begins Wednesday.

I drove downtown to pay my properity taxes this morning. After following several detour signs, I found myself in front of the Cities' World Wars I and II Memorial. I usually advoid War Memorials (especially on Memorial Day Weekend) mainly because of crowds. But today, I smiled, parked and paid proper respect to my fellow Americans who gave their lives for the freedoms we sometime take for granted.

When I returned to my car, Plash Phelps (60's on Sirius Radio Host) greeted me with the information found in the following article. My older eyes became moist. This had to be Providence. I realized the detour signs and Plash Phelps were on a mission. I have walked the Punchbowl in Hawaii and the National Cemetery at Andersonville. America is a special place and freedom isn't free. No man left behind!

Remains of Korean War Soldier, Medal of Honor recipient, to be buried in Georgia

I'm not sure fans of Tennessee athletics fully appreciate just how special Ashley Rogers is. I would give a lot to see her finish her Lady Vol playing career with a national championship, but even if she and her teammates fall short she'll still always be one of the best overall student-athletes to attend the University of Tennessee.

Can I get a little info please I got my granddaughter a softball for her birthday this past Saturday trying to show her the grips on different pitches. I can show her a curve and split and so on with a baseball but are the criterias different for gripping as softball all input will help thanks in advance

Rogers, recently graduating with a Master's in kinesiology, finished with a 4.0 GPA. She was presented with the award during the Women's College World Series banquet on Tuesday night in Oklahoma City.

The academic honor is just the latest for Rogers who is a two-time CSC Academic All-American and was named the 2023 SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Truly impressive! Congratulations Ashley!

Yep, and there were a few other comments and posts from Arizona about the appearance of some of our beautiful players. Mowatt laughed at a lot of them. I just found it to be completely disrespectful and telling of their character. To be fair to Caitlin Lowe, she had no hand in that or reaction to any of it. I just look at Arizona in softball like I do UConn in women's basketball. I will always root for them to lose every game.
