I was thinking the same thing. I seem to remember him having a lot of whiffs and not even coming close with contact. Such an amazing turnaround

He’s actually hit the ball hard the last 2+ years, but a lot of was into the ground. The lack of shift and a swing adjustment has seemed to correct that
