This kid ran faster than the majority of ones taken ahead of him …. He jumped higher and benched more than all the wrs drafted…. This kid has a ton of potential… Titan fans should be glad they got him.
I’m sure the other teams are glad they got the WRs they wanted. Wasn’t the point. The coach specifically went after Tennessee Volunteer fans with a meaningless stat to justify his choice. He didn’t use your argument, did he?

Lol the way Vol fans lost their minds when they drafted Levis was the jump off point. Don’t lie
You characterizing it such doesnt make it true

In fact, many many people believe Levis sucks based on evidence, so there is one here bearing false witness and we both know who that is

What?

The facts:

I believe Levis sucks.

The Titans are not UT.

NFL peeps had Levis rated higher than HH.

Vol fans who are also Titans fans had a hissy fit when they drafted Levis.

What are you even arguing?

So why intentionally make it worse by attacking them because you will always be #2 in the state of Tennessee? Childish
Hes a better qb than JG sure but i had the same reaction to any team taking a guy that looks in over his head

If the cowboys had taken levis, they'd be getting roasted
Or the steelers, or the bears if they traded up to get a guy that is mid 2nd at best

Its a betting game, but prior evidence shows that Levis is a moron
Thats what i expect to see in the future

Anyone been watching Love and Death on HBO? Elizabeth Olsen is great in it. Have 1 more episode left but it seems to be tracking in an expected direction.

I won't watch it because Hulu already did the same story six months ago. This true crime dramatization crap is out of hand.

That you are misrepresenting us.

People who have seen levis play know hes fair to middlin

Tn fans care about UT and only care about the Titans little

When you see someone making a mistake you want them not to

This does not mean draft HH instead of WL, another lie

Titans are woefully mismanaged and are deteriorating the hell out of Henry's knees

Prior evidence of mismanagement of qb's

Smartass comments from Gator carthon trying to limit questioning their decision making

Vrabel inserting UT vs Titan narrative when all we were saying was that the move is kinda dumb when you couodve gotten better players

Funny how the Lions fans are thrilled with HH. They may not have been as thrilled if the team traded away other needs to get him. It was a combination of things about Levi’s that upset Titan fans including years of bad choices the fans could see…and were proven right.

So weird this is a thing. And I don’t like watching Titans with Vrabel in charge. Incredibly boring.

But the Titans aren’t UT.

I think Levis is poo but most everyone involved with the NFL had Levis ahead of HH.

Dowell went 7 for 112 vs Vols. Pretty damn good for a UT Martin guy. No idea if he’s actually good tho.
Yeah I don't think Levis in the 2nd rd was at all a surprise. Seemed like an obvious pick by that point.

I thought it was pretty bad as a top 10 pick. But 2nd rd it was a good value considering the opinion most have on him at that level, not my own.

But I get Titans fans will never want to hear any of this. I wouldn't either 😅 I'll just say it's a whole lot better than had they had taken him 1st rd as was more expected, lost out on Skoronski, and ended up with a lesser pickup later.

Titans' fans in general were pissed when they drafted Levis because fan consensus is he sucks. Better to build your line and your receiving corps and aim for a better QB in next year's draft, which will have several, than to trade up for a QB that no one has confidence in.

It's not a hard concept to grasp. Fix your OL woes, then draft your QB. Make sure that QB is going to have weapons when you draft him. Titans appear to be trying to build backwards. Draft a QB with a still questionable OL and the only weapon is King Henry. And a sucky QB with questionable decision-making skills at that. Recipe for disaster.

Didn’t know he was a Gator! Makes a lot of sense.

Well said. If you had a team like KC, you would have just said that you would have rather had someone else but maybe he works out. The Titans have glaring needs that even a can’t miss QB would not help.

Drafting Levis because he can throw far from one knee is like drafting Usain Bolt to be a reciver because he's fast. There's more to qb than throwing a ball. There's more to receiver than running fast. Levis is more likely to be a bust than a star. Like, way more likely. That doesn't scream "second rounder!" to me.

Wasn’t at the combine, where you getting his numbers from?

Oh right, from Dowell. 😂
That may be true not sure…. Just saw it posted in a clip where talking heads were talking about the pick…. I don’t have a dog in the fight…. I’m very pleased with my Steelers draft.

Didn't the Titans just draft a QB last year that they're having to move away from this year? And now they're doing so by drafting a college QB that is demonstrably bad in game action, reportedly sporting an attitude that other orgs passed on, and is arguably a head case.

So, is this a UT/UK rivalry response, or a fanbase noting TWO wasted draft picks on QBs while the building burns in the background?
