Get outdoors and enjoy what you enjoy. Life is too short. The Vols will still be here in the Fall.

Well, Tennessee is well known for it's oil fields and large oil industry. So we officially named the team the Titans, but we secretly refer to them as the Oilers because of all the oil in the state. It really just helps relate the whole organization to what is really big in Tennessee.

I was fairly young when the Oilers moved here…. I remember when they were discussing naming the team…. One of the options was calling them the Thunder…. My juvenile acting self wanted that name so that the crowd could sing the beginning of this song before kickoff and during the game…. It could have also had some cool uniforms.

I heard Dolly Parton's uncle was shootin' at some food one day and missed. But up through the ground came some bubblin' crude! Well, the next thing you know, he's a millionaire! His kinfolk told him he should move to Beverly Hills, so he did. True story.

Haslam’s made their money in oil, part owners in Cleveland right? They shoulda oughta be the Oilers!
