I just didn’t see any area as a head coach he excelled at. He was really good at recruiting (if allowed to cheat) and as a DB coach. Didn’t handle coaches, players, fans, the athletic department or media well.

I don't think he was a good DB coach either. If I recall our secondary sucked pretty bad too.

He is a great D/C, DB coach…. He just couldn’t allow others to do their job.

With that talent he should have allowed any of the other QBs in to try. We lost to GA ST! And JG is in the NFL. You really have to find several ways to lose to do that.

I feel bad for Eddie George. That guy did so much in a short time frame to really ingratiate the Oilers here and it's all being undone. I still think highly of him.
