I’d also unplug it and lay it on a couple of dish towels, holes side down. That increases the chances of all the water draining out.
Ok so when I put it on a towel I would say about 3 tablespoons of water came out, so I do not know if I should just get a new one or not, I have it on a towel now with holes side down.

I honestly don't know! But a microwave is a kitchen appliance, and I would think that it would be designed to survive this sort of thing, as long as the wiring doesn't have any breaks in insulation. (I mean, you'd think so, right? This is the country that puts signs on ladders telling you not to walk under them.)

I suppose you could let it continue to dry out, and tomorrow get a surge protector (the cord that we should all be plugging our electronics into), take it and the microwave outside, plug in the microwave (to the surge protector), and hit Start. Take pictures!

(I am seriously sleep-deprived and about to pack it in, and I'll probably be horrified when I re-read this in the morning.)
