Went to the Georgia Southern baseball game tonight with my wife and my little brother. Like the Vols, Eagles were down 5 runs. Exciting finish as they hit a 3-run homer to walk off in the 9th, 8-6. Then the Vols closed it out and now all these VFLs in the draft. Fun night!

Hope so. Had to look them up. Looks like Carvin has dropped some recently and projects as a UDFA, though a service or two see him as a draft take Brooks #5 punter but maybe still udfa. Guess not a lot of kickers taken.

Would be great cherries on top. Though not sitting through 2 more days of this drivel to find out. Tonight was a nice enough peak

Doubtful on Brooks. Not many punters get drafted. I'm hoping Carvin gets drafted. Banks probably gets drafted.

Pretty soft to think this draft is bad for Tennessee. It’s a “sky is falling” mentality when we used to beg for drafts with just 1 Vol selected. We’re in Year 2 of a new coach.

Fant (7th round/undrafted)
Carvin (undrafted)
Brooks (undrafted)

I think Banks goes next, productive & good combine. Then I actually think Carvin would be next, durable & can play all 3 interior spots.

It’s not a matter of “differing opinions”. We had five players drafted in the first three rounds. We’ve come a long ways in a short time. Having a top 10 pick and four third round picks is nothing but a huge positive for the program Heupel is building. Spinning it as anything else is asinine.

I agree with the fact no one should be upset that we have this many people getting drafted. This is exactly what Tennessee needed.
