I would be curious to know how many of these schools charged admission, and if that really makes much difference or not.

New coach with solid rebuild resume. Plus, they still consider themselves as relevant for some reason.

The Univ. of Nebraska has one of the very best fan base support structures anywhere. Had we not hired Huep, we would be in much the same discussion of non relevance, so perhaps we should speak kindly of others in that boat. College football is much better when the Nebraskas and Tennessees are back in contention in my opinion. Look at the sellout percentage the Huskers have posted even thru the lost S Frost years. Impressive support and passion for their team.

Bama beat us out for 4th because their Spring Game happened to land on Family Reunion Day down there at Bryant-Denny.
Bama needs help with recruiting it seems. Maybe they need to hire someone from Wake Forest.

Gotta respect the fact that they still sell the place out. It’s smaller but they pack 80k in to watch a loser for the last 20 years. Kudos

We weren’t relevant for close to 20 years.

I was at the spring game. They were having trouble with the scanners at the gate we used. Four out of our group of five never got their tickets scanned. There were way more people there than got counted.

Embarassing that the top 3 spots all were Big 10 teams.

Where was LSU?? After the season they had, they couldnt make top 10??

Also what about Auburn?? I figured the Hugh Freeze excitement wouldve boosted their spring game numbers too.

The weather was brutal for Auburn’s game. The 3 biggest stadiums in the country are in the Big 10. Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State.

Yeah I get the shade since they were some of our biggest competition in the 90s, but someone acting like they can’t understand why their fans still care is baffling.

They’ve hired a coach that has a great college track record and are excited about it. We packed the stadium for spring games for guys like Dooley, Butch Jones, and Pruitt so we’re really throwing stones in glass houses here.

The Cornhusker fanbase is every bit as passionate as ours. They are a great group of people and they deserve to have a good program, just like we do. Nebraska has always been a program that I rooted for from afar, as long as they werent playing us.

What else are you going to do in Nebraska? Even garbage college football is better than watching the corn grow

I can imagine a young CSI lab tech getting his or her first job in Tuscaloosa and getting laughed at when they suggest running a DNA test for a crime scene 😂
Same DNA means a fan did it. Unidentified DNA means a basketball player did it.
