Gun control debate (merged)

I found it: Amendment 9B (it's in smaller print): "The right of women who are inconvenienced by their poor sexual decisions to kill their unborn babies by having their heads crushed, limbs severed, and removed by suction SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."

Cute. If you will only keep struggling, I think you can panic your way out of the tar pit.

Ok I'll help you:

Infringe: "act so as to limit or undermine (something); encroach on."

I'm one of the consistent ones. I believe people have the right to . . .guns . . .and that there are rational and reasonable limits and restrictions that should be placed on both. (nonsense about abortion omitted)

In other words, you are wrong, and you disagree with the Constitution. There's a fix for that, so get on it and stop bitching like a nincompoop.

Can you define the word "infringe?"
Can you?
Can the Supreme Court?

It seems as if there can be all types of regulations and restrictions without infringing on a person's right to keep and bear arms.

I know I have personally never advocated for any infringement of that right.

I fully support the right for most everyone to keep and bear arms, always have.

My god. You one up yourself on stupid comments daily. Regulations and restrictions are by definition there to infringe on whatever it may be.

There are already constitutional regulations and restrictions placed on guns.
They are not infringements, because that would be unconstitutional. Right??????

Of course only to a point. That's where rational and reasonable comes into play.

You guys who attempt to live in a black and white world crack me up.
Oh yea, you believe in her right to choose … as long as it fits in your box.

Just like you say I can own a gun… as long as it fits in your box.

It's pretty simple. I believe in both the woman's right to choose and the person's right to keep and bear arms, and that rational and reasonable restrictions can and should be placed on both.

Consistency - you guys should try it out sometime.

Restrictions = infringements

Yes. You are consistent, I'll give you that.

So start a campaign and amend the Constitution.

And, stop with the abortion nonsense. Wrong thread and completely unrelated (and not mentioned in the Constitution). Oh, and call a spade a spade, as everything in life is a "choice." You believe women should be able to kill their unborn babies.

Restrictions do not always = infringements

It's time for you guys to accept what has been decided multiple times by the USSC.

It's part of the gun control debate, so it belongs here.
And your spade is asinine.

LOL, right. Ripping apart and a baby and sucking it out is just a choice.

Do that to puppies, put it on Instagram or Twitter, and see what kind of response you get.

I know it makes it easier to digest when you call something a "choice." Other choices I've faced this morning:
- coffee or no?
- what to read as devotional
- shower?
- what to wear
- drive in my lane or oncoming traffic?
