Interesting brouhaha afoot in academic philosophy publishing around the views that can be expressed and argued on gender issues. Really sad to see this, especially in a discipline that has prided itself on skepticism and the willingness to evaluate an argument purely on its merits.

Anheuser-Busch has decided to shake up its marketing leadership after its Bud Light brand became, quite literally, a target for conservatives angered by a campaign featuring a transgender social media influencer.

Anheuser-Busch confirmed Allen's new duties in a statement to USA TODAY: "We have made some adjustments to streamline the structure of our marketing function to reduce layers so that our most senior marketers are more closely connected to every aspect of our brands activities."

The moves, the statement said, "will help us maintain focus on the things we do best: brewing great beer for all consumers, while always making a positive impact in our communities and on our country."

They know that the Dylan Mulvaney thing was a big screwup. They won't try anything like that again.

I see an obese performer challenged TN's new drag bill the other night in Knoxville. I dont think the Bill has cleared the Courts, so it wasnt really challenged. Hopefully when it does the clear the Courts, and this obese b1tch tried this stunt again, she and every tranny on stage is prosecuted.

A law protecting Tennessee teachers from civil liability if they fail to use a student’s preferred pronouns, is heading to the governor’s desk for his signature. The law extends protection to all employees of a public school, as well.

The proposed law, HB1269, comes at a time when discussions around transgender issues have moved to the forefront. Supporters say the bill does nothing but protect the First Amendment rights of teachers. But critics argue that the bill is part of a trio of “anti-LGBTQ+” bills passed by the Tennessee legislature this session. The first, regulated public drag shows across the state, while the other banned some gender-related medical procedures for minors. Many times, those same critics do not acknowledge that “gender affirming” procedures and drug therapies physiologically alter the young person’s body, often irreversibly.

I wasn't saying you had to listen to bad music. My point is that ignoring the impact of culture on politics is why the liberals are winning right now. For years, the right has assumed that having the best argument would win people over to their side. Meanwhile, liberals actually went after controlling culture, music, film, etc and have pushed their agenda.
