I hate the SEC…

So so dumb. I would love to hear any SEC representative suggest what could have been done to prevent the field storming against Bama.

I'll give my suggestions to stop our particular case: tear gas, 1000+ national guard members armed and ready to shoot at any field stormers, 10-foot unclimbable wall in front of first row (10< feet for extra security), no fans allowed in stadium for big games that could possibly warrant storming the field, offer $1000 to each attendee 2 minutes after the final whistle. I think any of these suggestions used together would help prevent field stormings. I think these are reasonable suggestions. Schools must be held accountable for holding back literally 1000s of people, I couldn't agree more.

With the draft coming up, whoever takes Will Levis is an idiot. Especially if they take him over Stroud.

Or Hooker, for that matter.
That seems to be the ordinary fan’s opinion. Then there are these scouts. Truly curious how the teams are going to pick. When is the first round?

Do a lot of people get their own last name tattooed on themselves?

Saban only made storming the field an issue to divert focus from his player belting a sorority girl in frustration after the L to UT. Of course that made UT the poster school for the infraction, even though other schools have done it more. Saban doesn't have much support. Other school presidents feel like Randy Boyd: they'll pay the fine for their fans celebrating after a huge win.

Thanks to Saban, SEC schools are going to have to update safety plans and protocols-- even though absolutely no one thinks Bama's players were in more danger from joyful fans than they were from 300-lb players coming right at them.

Any news or rumors coming out of our meetings with the NCAA.

I don't like that this is taking so long to play out.

Actually, not bad at all. UT only cared about the final violation, which was presented last on Thursday. Arguments were expected to go through Friday, and the meeting ended Thursday, earlier than anticipated. SEC support was important, and Sankey was there for the duration. So far, so good.

I get that Nick Saban is transcendent or something but what iteration of the "Saban Rule" are we at now? 40?

Just this offseason alone he's lobbied to change a 50 yr old clock management rule to hamper up-tempo offenses and is now trying to get every school punished more because his fans suck and don't storm anything.

Saban got scared because he was afraid of getting stepped on. He would be hard to see. LOL
