I think he was a Cardinal, but not 100% sure.

He’s actually in the HOF. Has 1 MVP and finished top 3 on two other occasions. Finished with nearly 3000 hits and over 400 stolen bases. Played for the Giants and Cardinals. He has the third most hits in World Series history, behind only Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle.

Frisch was a heck of player now that I am looking at it. Played baseball, basketball, football, and track at Fordham University. One of those OG do-it-all athletes. And he had a managerial record above .500 for 16 seasons. He and Vince Lombardi were inducted into Fordham’s inaugural HOF together in 1971.
