It’s far more logical than some extremely ignorant little person who knows absolutely nothing about what they attempt to argue about. If you don’t like the 2A amend the constitution. There is nothing to interpret. There is nothing to compromise. People have already conceded parts of their right which is always a perceived path for morons to think they can take a little more.

We do a lot of things differently than the rest of the world. There’s a reason we’ve been the best country in the world for a long time. The more we get like the rest of the world, the worse off we are.
mid the rest of the world is so great the pick somewhere and go there. There’s no need to change the only standalone

you talking about comprehension in a thread where you’ve bragged about not knowing anything about the topic is laughable

I answered that for you the day prior. And I have said it before. I guess I will say it again.

The full weight of the US War Machine will roll over anything it chooses to roll over.

It’s not about stopping them from taking whatever ground they wanted. It’s about keeping them from holding it.

The armed US citizenry would become the largest guerrilla force in history, the insurgency fought on US soil the bloodiest.

But like all things liberal, it's not fair for the US to be better. So instead of the rest trying to be like the US it's only fair to lower our standards to match those of weaker nations. That way we can feel better.

The thread is not about guns, that's your miscomprehension once again.
The thread is about gun control.
I proudly claim to have limited knowledge about guns, especially compared to the gun nuts in the gun control thread.
But I have plenty to contribute on the actual topic of the thread, which again is GUN CONTROL....not guns.
And as I've stated multiple times, you guys confuse your obsessive and relatively meaningless knowledge of guns with wisdom.
And you guys have continued to prove the two are not the least bit correlated.

The US became the world leader of what all countries aspired to be because of our ability and willingness to recognize a wrong and work to correct it. Our willingness to change and progress.
The gun craziness in our country is the exact opposite of all the things that made us great. 65% of our nation and 95% of the world understands that.

And yet you believe, that our government could become so horrible and dangerous that its citizens would pick up arms against it and other countries wouldn't jump at the chance to assist those citizens.
That is an absurd and indefensible position. Simply could not and would not ever happen.

The gun nuts whole Rambo, cowboy vs. Indians, true patriot, guerilla war games pretending is simply laughable.

A big dose of 21st century reality would go a long way for some of you guys stuck with a child's view from the 1950's.

I find it odd that you went straight to the small pee pee interpretation of "compensating". I never thought that would account for more than maybe 20% of the gun nuts' need for "compensating".

I think the hope for help strategy was discarded as a result of our own revolution. And resulted in the 2A. The most likely scenario is that Europe and other countries would take a neutral stance just as they did during the Civil War. Or, as other western countries become more authoritarian, recognize the US as the last Western bastion of classical liberalism, and enter on the side of the despotic US government being fought. Again, thus the 2A not allowing our government a monopoly of force.
