It now costs more to produce the goods and transport the goods, while the consumer is already paying more for energy and gas. It's multiple layers of pain.
People who have trouble understanding the full ramifications of Biden's energy policy struggle with 6° of separation and how all those things are not mutually exclusive. It's the connection throughout the supply chain that creates a cost multiplier effect on the end consumer in various goods we buy and services we consume. "Energy" costs are a hidden cost to many unless they see it in their utilities directly.
