Breathe, the short answer is I’m not sure. Best we can do is invest in businesses with a strong track record of paying/raising dividends and growth, trade options if you’re good at it, take advantage of these new, higher interest rates and convert some savings to fixed income with a decent yield, etc. to try to keep up. The sad part of it is that it will affect and is affecting most all of us. We save, invest, watch what we spend, limit our debt only to watch the dollar continue to erode at the hands of most administrations and reckless govt spending. A dollar today purchases only about 57% of what it did a mere 23 years ago in 2000, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index that I just read. I guess as a nation we’re just not pi$$3d off enough yet.

What cite? Nobody is trying to vilify you. You just refuse to admit why you voted for Biden, and what has he done to improve the lives of the American people and the world? What are his strengths? Is the US safer since he took office? Is this country more united?

You have continuously avoided this discussion. It's not like you don't know how you think about it. You just seem to not want to admit the guy has been a cluster even if you voted for him. I voted for Obama twice - I could list the reasons. But at the end of it, I felt like he was ripping the country apart and he started the trend of leaders going internationally condemning the US. The democrats have continued that trend.

I respond as I do for two reasons.
1. From the beginning when I ventured into this forum, you far rightists were hellbent on mocking, and gang tackling I and anyone who thought different than you. Finally, I understood and accepted, that's all that would happen here. You folks taught me to be condescending and off-tangent, I earned your lesson well.

2. Another lesson you taught me, was pointless it is to even try to have a genuine conversation with you folks, who are steeped and broiled in bigotry, conspiracy theory, partisan politics, outright lies, and proud of both your ignorance and your arrogance.

Sadly, for me, I totally enjoy playing with you guys like this. That's my shame, and again, why you get winding replies. You taught me well.

Vet everybody who handles classified materials just like the military does; not qualified for a clearance - out on your azz. Give them the same set of rules and security training that the military uses. They screw up; hang them. It's really pretty damn simple. It's not foolproof obviously, but it's better than the clown shows going on now. Also vet candidates running for office if they will be dealing with classified material; don't pass - name doesn't go on the ballot.

In one of the most detestable moves of the Biden administration’s existence, and there’s a lot of competition, she’s going to show support for the so-called “Tennessee Three.” That would be the same “Tennessee Three” that incited and participated in an insurrection, leading to the expulsion of two of the Democrats from the state legislature.
