Funny Pics thread II

Silver queen was developed to grow well in the heat and humidity of the south. It’s called sweet corn. Often, we adorn it with salted butter to eat it from the cob.

Side bar: In Arab countries, butter is sold “sweet.” You’re apt to witness people sprinkling fine salt on buttered toast.

I don't salt corn but I have to limit salt for health reasons.
Do you use salted butter? If so, no salt necessary. My salt tolerance has dropped since GVG. They never put a shaker near the table so we don't at home either. Salted butter usually gets me by on potatoes and corn or anything buttered.

I may or may not have an affliction towards salt.

Behrs not wrong. More of a vanilla than chocolate fan but I have been know you sprinkle salt on my ice cream (as long as wife doesn’t see)

I have a mixed marriage. Salted vs un salted butter. Our fridge is stocked with both

I don't salt corn. I butter it or use a butter , mayo, parmesan mixture. I do salt my watermelon though

I used to butter and salt corn on the cob. But, now if it's a good flavored corn I just eat it straight up. I do put a pat of butter and dash of salt in skillet corn or just heating it. I eat watermelon either way, but if it a jam up melon, no salt.
