Why was Laos, Cambodia or anyone else of our concern in the first place? We burned through our treasure on these ideological crusades in the 1960s/1970s and are doing the same thing since 2001. Meanwhile, none of these military escapades is of ANY benefit to the average American.

Typical American mindset... "destroy". Not construct. Not cooperate. If we can't control it, then we ruin it for anyone else.

The alternative should have been to bolster domestic production or spend all of the money and innovative focus on energy alternatives rather than on these nonsensical wars halfway around the globe.

Exactly. Which is one of the points Maraia Zakharova brought up a few days ago with regards to Italian soldiers (NATO) using those rounds against Serbia and getting illnesses because of that.

You also ignore what these rounds do to the soil once they land/detonate. So you want to "liberate" the land and people in easte Ukraine by bombing them with shells that could poison the very land you are liberating and kill the people. What kind of twisted logic is that?

And also... the projection over the last year about the Russians resorting to nukes or a dirty bomb when it is clear that it is the West that is desperate enough to escalate to that point.

Also, you do realize that the rounds are sabots? Completely encased? I'm not sure how the one doing the firing gets exposed when the round isn't exposed until it leaves the muzzle.

Russia in Ukraine is doing what? and why are they alledgely doing it? Because Russia lost control of Ukraine. So they decided if they can't have it, no one can, and are destroying the whole country in order to "save" one corner of it.

It would be one argument if that was Russia's only port, or if they didn't have any other places to keep a fleet on the Black Sea, or if that was the only sea they had access to for trading. But its not.

As you said earlier, typical mindset to destroy instead of building a new port in Russia. Instead they had to destroy Ukraine to take Crimea.
