President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

They are arguing veracity, not privilege.

Did this SM filing do anything to answer questions surrounding the veracity of the passages in your opinion?
Oh.

I think the factual summary said that PV claimed they talked to somebody claiming to be Ashley Biden and were told that it was hers but then later asked her lawyers to have her look at it and then say whether it was hers and she refused. Otherwise, I didn’t see anything about that. The facts were noted to be in dispute. Didn’t see much else about it, but I honestly didn’t read the whole thing.

I think there’s an agreement that the book was hers and that some of the writing was hers and the ultimate issue of veracity would probably be disputed on a line-by-line basis.

That's more of the same thing.

Once again, that filing did not address the authenticity of those diary passages. It only states that the diary did belong to Ashley Biden, but that has never been a matter of dispute. That filing did not provide any new information in that regard.

This is the right wing attempting to deflect from Trump.

Does Ashley want to keep her diary and its contents private?

If she does, I would hope whoever is in possession of it now honors her wishes no matter what political damage or embarrassment would be avoided.

If she wanted to keep it private she shouldn't have abandoned it in someone else's house.

That's a fair point of view but not necessarily the right thing to do.

Has she commented on the diary since it became part of public discourse?

Yea I think that’s right. It doesn’t make any assertions to the authenticity of the diary passages.

Would the SM actually rule on privilege if there were underlying concerns of veracity? I don’t know.

Remind me again who currently resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue....

She allegedly confirmed by phone that it was hers. PV also allegedly offered her an opportunity to view it in person and she declined.

Those are both in the SM ruling.

Publicizing her diary was not the right thing to do, no question about that. But having the FBI raid peoples homes and offices to retrieve her diary wasn't either. Charging the people that found it with a crime absolutely wasn't the right thing to do.

I have no clue.

It’s one of those that will be refuted regardless.

Not her diary….Yes it is.
She didn’t write that….. Yes she did.
Just because she wrote it in her diary doesn’t make it true.

Gonna be hard to prove that last argument.

You sound like Kamala Harris' speechwriter.

She has had ample time and opportunities to reject the writings in the diary. IMO she is refused to come verify it person because of the passages of question...if she came forward claimed the writings...what would Dems do?? Still support our pedo in chief??

It's dangerous to infer truth or proof from another's behavior especially when we aren't close to the person or have full understanding of all the circumstances.

She has been contacted and refused.....since when do people hide the truth if it benefits them. I believe that is it we're not hers and her entries, someone would have spoken out to that fact on her behalf (assuming she doesn't want the attention). Since PV did have a handwriting analysis done prior..only adds legitimacy to the claims.

I assume she does, but I’m also assuming it is hers. But it’s on the internet now. Anybody who really wants to can find it.
