They knew Vaughn wasn’t ready, and Dansby was gone, so how the hell did we get here?

It’s not even an indictment on Vaughn. He showed he’s not a middle infielder last year. And I don’t know if it’s cheap, hope or blind loyalty to think Ron Washington can make anyone good at defense…whatever it might be. This was poorly handled.
