I liked the way that Barnes was changing up the defense and throwing them off. Freshman made Freshman mistakes (Awaka/Phillips) Don't see Phillips going to the NBA, but could be wrong.

Aidoo has played good D but he isn’t comfortable in a post up game & Vols need that tonight against Brown. Brown doesn’t appear to want to play a lot of D

I would if I’m them. So far this tournament officials aren’t calling much so you can probably do it and not put yourself in bonus situations as badly as you would in the regular season

Lousiana has played poorly too and turned it over. But the second half will be different as I think we will see a dose of Brown and then kick outs w/ three point shooting.

Shack playing well. Uris has to play like he is 7’1 and not 6’6. Keep the ball over your head. He has strong hands so he can hold onto the ball.

I can’t wrap my head around Philips probably heading to NBA when he is not a consistent contributor. Nothing against the guy at all. It’s just the numbers are not there.

He’ll be G-league which is probably more fun than school and defense.

We may double team Brown a couple of times to force a turnover. But he will kick it out for three ball attempts. I may be wrong but have a feeling Louisiana will go on a run and hit some threes. I hope not as I’m being glass half empty.

Everything isn’t Us versus Them, in some imagined “good” Vol vs. “bad” Vol scenario.

Barnes did a good job with the adjustments. But being critical of the performance or aspects of it doesn’t make someone a “Nega” any more than being positive about it makes someone a “sunshine pumper”.

I don’t get the mentality on either side of this debate.

Barnes did a good job subbing his bigs. I’d keep Uros in a bit more til ten min mark. Santi has to play 17-20 min this half.
