Things I'm mad about today

View attachment 538405
This. From the moment we got back on the interstate, until we split off to go towards Gainesville it was that packed going south. Thankfully, northbound wasn't too bad, but every time we go to Atlanta to a Dr, this is what it's like. Bumper to bumper, and a crawl for a couple of hours. Worst traffic I've dealt with personally.
Looks like Chicago Never could figure out how people deal with it everyday

No stinking room when plumbing! Getting them hoses back on isn't really hard, just hard to get to!

Oh yeah, I was mad about this yesterday. Burnt the crap out of my arm 🤣IMG_20230305_191035342.jpg

Looks like a picture that would pop up on Criminal Minds. OUCH!
It's blistered better today, may leave a scar. I'll make up some cool story to tell people 🤣. I actually did it on my burn barrel, was burning twigs in the yard, and wasn't paying attention. Metal apparently gets pretty hot when it's full of fire👀

I'll eat it if I can get my hands on one.
I might try one, out of curiosity.

Why does anyone care if food producers are making plant-based variations on existing stuff? No one’s required to eat one or the other.

For instance, my 5-year-old grandson could actually eat this. A bite of one regular Reese’s cup and he’s off to the emergency room. As in, he will stop breathing if not treated for anaphylaxis in time.

What part of a regular Reese's isn't plant based?

Oh I would definitely try one. I've just never seen one. I've ate plant based foods before. Burger King has a plant based Whopper. I would say plant based foods will be all more common in the next decade.

I’m guessing that there’s dairy and/or egg in it. For instance, grandson can’t eat milk chocolate. Dunno though since we don’t try to keep them around the house, which would be futile - they’d be gone in an hour. *drools*

Ah, was thinking about all the plant based fats, peanuts, and cocoa. Forgot about the dairy.

ETA: grandson is a vegan carnivore. He eats meat, poultry, and fish, as long as there isn’t added cheese, cooked in butter, egg batter etc. And he’ll eat just about anything. He’s not picky at all once the ingredients have been checked.

It’s amazing what is in food that you wouldn’t expect. One trip to the ER was for Hint of Lime Tostitos. Who knew? I’ve always considered these things “to die for”, but it’s a bit too literal in his case, lol.

Yeah, most of the time I leave it to his parents to buy what he eats (Hubs and I have not yet set him off, but the other grandparents have, bwah hah hah), but I sometimes grab stuff to have around.

Im now one of those annoying shoppers clogging up the aisle, squinting at ingredients lists.
