I remember
@McDad and I talking about this a couple of years ago right when Biden took over the WH. I had told my wife I wanted to get our house ready to sell.
Suddenly the prices on raw materials spiked because of supply shortages. We started having inventory shortages in part due to material shortages, the other part was people moving to middle Tennessee paying over market price because they were coming from places like California. Also, these investment companies were buying people property who could move and not worry about fixing issues. Those things started creating skyrocketing prices.
Those factors gave us reason to pause because it was costing more to do home improvement projects so we started taking our time. Then about 9 months later Biden economics kicked in from government spending sieve like increase in interest rates.
We can't move now. It's unaffordable to get what we want now and it's impractical. It would probably cost at least $100k - $150k more plus the loss of savings from lower interest rates. If the democrat utopia is for Americans to not own homes, then they might be on their way.
• Government flood the economy with money they don't have
• Cause prices to rise on everything
• Then say they got the answers
• Raise taxes on some to give as handouts
• Demonize corporations to act the way you want to receive government credit, rebates, etc for the money they gave the government
• take over the economy and healthcare with permanent living wages while corporations are under the thumbs of government policy
