Here's the "redemption" game everyone wanted. Chatter on the forum all season has been "LSU is overrated," "Tennessee would be ranked as high as LSU with their schedule," "Tennessee would beat LSU away from their homecourt," etc. Well, now we will find out, and Kellie has one more opportunity to get a signature victory this season. Let's see what you've got...

You know, that is a fair comment. Sometimes, the LVs have been close and no cigar and sometimes they have been dominated by higher ranked teams. But this season, the one consistency has been losing these high profile games. It is time to put up or shut up on whether or not they can compete with the upper tier.
The time is now because winning this game probably improves their seed and their odds of making it back to the Sweet 16. Hands down, the most pivotal game of the season to this point.

If we run our sets properly keep our dribble tighter and rotating properly on defense and most importantly boxing out text book we can win. Because Angel is a good rebounder but if you put a body on her she will go over your back and she’s foul prone when you actually play on her weakness. She pulls the ball literally from her hip smaller player need to dig and get it ..!! Lady Vols only beat themselves no one has truly dominated us we don’t keep pressure and make teams unsure of themselves!!!

She will go over your back but it never gets called.

LSU has the better coach and the better all around players. They had balanced scoring from 4 players last night while the LVs depend primarily on one player. Horston has an incredible upside to her game that hopefully some pro coach can fine tune. But for now, I grimace every time she gets the ball. She had almost as many turnovers last night as made baskets, and so many wild shots that had no chance that they may as well have counted as a turnover. If it were not for Jackson, I don't think Tn would have been a .500 club this year. Cut off the head of the snake by clamping down on RJ, put some token pressure on Darby, and wait for Horston and Powell to turn it over and LSU advances 75-64. If that Ky player had suppressed her pony tail fetish last night, the Cats could very well have been playing in this game!
