The Atlanta Braves

As long as the batter has two feet in the box, and their bat isnt just laying over the plate they should be fine. Theyll learn to get their heads up when they take 95 down the pipe a couple of times. As the tweet you noted mentioned the catcher not even being ready makes this worse, savy teams could use this trick late in a close game such as what happened today.

Was playing a little roulette this evening

My guy had a spin jump out of the wheel and bounce off the glass

I said hold on brother, it’s not a backboard

He said (and I kid you not) “come out the rain before you get wet”

Man it’s crazy how baseball has changed. I remember in 09 when Tommy Hanson TOUCHED 96 in his rookie year and went “oh my god we finally have a real fire baller as a starter!”

Now guys that average 92-93 on their fastball aren’t MLB quality fastballs

The bullpens are the most striking thing to me. Every single team in the league, even awful ones, have 3-4 guys who all throw like 96-99. If you were watching a baseball game just 10 years ago and a guy was pitching who was consistently in the upper 90s, you'd notice it. Now that's basically a prerequisite.
