The Level 3 violation occurred during the first week of June when UT flew Ahuna in for his official visit. They self reported it so the NCAA has had 8 months to rule on it. I can’t imagine Ahuna’s eligibility issue is tied to a level 3 violation that occurred back in June 22. If so, it’s beyond ridiculous that it‘s taken this long. What a bureaucratic mess!

Tell me about it. The first trip to pick them up, my son (Austin Riley) said he'd take his car. He lived in the Nashville area a couple of years B4 moving back here. He said things have changed since the last time I was there about 30 years ago. When I take them back to fly out, he said I would know how things are now. He's a smart kid. :rolleyes: A chip off the old block you could say.

I started school there in '83. Pretty sure it had to be Spring of '84. Not sure when Delmonico started but it was likely before then. I remember seeing Lars Gilligan hit a home run. I went to a lot of games during the Helton era.

  • 1931 - The Chicago White Sox and the New York Giants become the first major league teams to meet in a night game. They collect 23 hits in a 10-inning exhibition game played at Buffs Stadium in Houston.

  • 1951 - The South Carolina House introduces a resolution urging that Shoeless Joe Jackson, who was banished from baseball because of his part in the Black Sox Scandal of 1919, be reinstated.

  • 1957 - Dodgers owner Walter O'Malley trades minor league franchises with Phil Wrigley of the Cubs. Brooklyn gives up its Ft. Worth club (Texas League) in return for the Los Angeles Angels (Pacific Coast League). In a year's time, Brooklyn will be without a team and Los Angeles will be a major league city.

  • 1969 - Ted Williams returns to baseball full-time, signing a five-year contract to manage the Washington Senators.

  • 1985 - Tim Raines is awarded a $1.2 million salary for 1985 by arbitrator John Roberts. This is the largest award to date through the process. The 25-year-old Raines hit .309 for the Expos in 1984 and led all players with 75 stolen bases.

  • 1986 - Rollie Fingers loses a chance to continue his career with the Cincinnati Reds when he refuses to shave his trademark handlebar mustache to comply with club policy.

  • 1989 - Reds manager Pete Rose meets with Commissioner Peter Ueberroth and Commissioner-elect Bart Giamatti to discuss his gambling habits.

I know I can change my avatar anytime, however I want to use an avatar for 3 weeks or more.
I’ll be changing my avatar today.

It’s been a long time since I used a Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) avatar on Volnation.
I recall some Volnation member stating the exact oath that a Green Lantern says while recharging the power ring.


WWE Raw was entertaining including Lita has returned to be a tag team partner for a female wrestler that wears a chest piece that has shoulder pads.
Also I’m amazed by the wrestler that has Seth Freakin Rollins name mainly because the Freakin makes him stand out instead of just being an inside the box Wrestler that uses their real name.
Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio, the 2 Hardy Brothers, etc.

Lita was wearing a sleeveless shirt, and Jean jacket vest which made me think she may have been inspired by the badass Lee Brothers the 2 protagonists of the beat ‘em up Arcade game Double Dragon.

The anime style version of the Lee Brothers from the great GBA video game that is Double Dragon Advance.
Billy Lee wears the Blue outfit, and Jimmy Lee wears the red outfit.
