CFB world reacts to major Ron DeSantis announcement

Can anyone explain this in Country Boy terms, it is fairly clear but does this mean DeSantis has partially shut the door on NIL by trying to Regulate it.

Is this a recruiting advantage for any out of state school using NIL that is recruiting in FL?
On Thursday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed an amendment to the states Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) law that now allows coaches and school administration to play a role in facilitating deals for the student-athletes.

Chandler is the missing piece to this team...it is the reason I was so upset that he left even though I understand why he did...

This team would be a really great BB team, we would probably he undefeated or 1 loss at most right now, and a legitimate favorite to win the NC.

IMO he would make that much difference.
Phillips has that ability but he's not on Chandler's level at this point in his career.

He has nowhere near the ball skills and driving ability/instincts KC has...imo.

Kennedy chandler is Ja morant!..straight freak..I was sad when he left especially crying after losing to Michigan in that moment I just felt like he still had more in the tank..like full revenge.

All our one and dones, KC, Springer, and Keon, would have been better off sticking around for another season imo. Went late first/early second, and have been sitting on the bench since. Keon, especially, if he had developed a more consistent jumper, could have been a lottery pick. Get wanting to go get paid, but feel like they all left some critical development on the table.

Happy Birthday to the "Greatest" ;)

They're all getting garbage time minutes in the league this year, which sets them up to take on bigger roles in the future. They're getting eased into it.

I do think Keon was the least ready, but his athleticism was off the charts. Chandler might be the second best player we've ever had behind Tobias Harris and I hope he ends up having a great NBA career.

They wanted to get the clock started on their first contract. They’ll get developed in the league the way the NBA wants these guys to develop anyway. Vols would have benefited for sure but staying an extra year for guys like this could jeopardize their career if there’s an injury or slump.
