The SEC is doing away with the six day and 12 day window to announce game times. So most all league games kickoff times will be announced in the pre-season. Commissioner Greg Sankey was quoted

“There’ll be some flex games within a Saturday from afternoon to evening or evening to afternoon. But we won’t have these wait until 12 days and then you find out, the game I want to attend is going to be at 11 a.m. CT, or six day wait for huge movement between 11 a.m. or 8 p.m.”

The league hasn’t given any more details as to how the flex process will work or when those games will be flexed. Obviously that’s important as fans make their travel plans.

I'm changing it up. First row, top to bottom...

Imma have to go with table 2…simply because pat..I’d give anything to have her back alive..Rick Barnes is a given.he’s a hoot!.…and lane kiffin even though he isn’t by popular demand id still rather listen to him on anything than what butch Jones would have to say 🤣🤣 plus!..we still have a lot of unanswered questions that need to be addressed..love fulmer and Heupel though.

I don't see anything about the NIL initiatives making deals only that universities can't use them as a go through
"As reported by the Sports Business Journal, Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law in the state that will regulate the NIL process, barring Florida universities from using NIL deals for recruiting or player retention, but providing a little more flexibility for coaches."

This is what I do not understand.

Since they are private their was some way they were able to get around it and have extra scholarships. I don’t remember the exact way.

As a private school, they give out financial based scholarships and minority scholarships. So, they can use those to supplement the baseball scholarships. That’s the way I understood it.

Anyone that went through our 4-win team in the early 90s will always appreciate what is happening.

It's almost unreal tbh. A legit top-10 CBB program is something I never thought I'd see here. And we've been there for 5 years. Probably top 15 over the last 17 years, give or take a bit.

Some can't grasp how good they have it right now. This is not the norm at all.

Exactly

We are missing a guy that can drive and finish at the rim.
Chandler is the missing piece to this team...it is the reason I was so upset that he left even though I understand why he did...

This team would be a really great BB team, we would probably he undefeated or 1 loss at most right now, and a legitimate favorite to win the NC.

IMO he would make that much difference.

I’ll take where we are now easily. Regular tournament appearances and wins against the best teams each year. Fine with me.

Some people only watch college basketball in March and they will probably never be happy. We haven’t had success at the level they want, but if we keep knocking on the door we might get through. It’s a tournament sport and I want a deep run as much as anyone, but the regular seasons can be fun too.
yup.

we have one of the best overall athletics programs in the country right now. it really is rarified air. for us as fans, i know we've never been "elite" in all 3-4 major sports at the same time in my lifetime. then thrown in other non revenue sports that we're winning at high levels in, and it's truly something that should be appreciated.

around college sports in general....i think it's noteworthy as well....the front porch of the University of Tennessee looks as good as it may ever have, and looks every bit as good, if not better, than most anyone in the country.

Pride is the only thing we should be feeling these days. fly your flags, wear that power T.....this is a great time to be a Tennessee Vol.

well, it doesn't sound good if you're trying to recruit players to to a state run university in Florida.

is Desantis a Miami Grad or something? lol.

in truth, i'd need some more detail on the flexibility for coaches thing....that statement really doesn't make a lot of sense.
