I think this is good advice for all our friends. The only issue here is thieves, robbers and just plain ole criminals knowing servers have cash on them if this starts to become the norm.

We walked with the cash no matter what after closing out. Difference is you have to claim all CC tips but can fudge on cash. I think our min was to claim 12-13% of all cash tips. Maybe that's handled differently now but it's what we did

I just don’t engage now lol.. I got into an argument with a lady on FB today who was trashing me because I said that New Orleans was dangerous lol.. she asserted that Nebraska was more dangerous because ‘meth towns’ and that nobody cared what I thought and don’t visit New Orleans ever 🤣 😂😂 Something about me really triggered her, the nicer I was, the madder she got lol

Good point. Used to be 8% from my college waiter days. It's been so long I thought you got it with your check but that sounds right.

I think it's funny that Biden is acting more and more like Trump, but Dems now love this behavior because it's their guy. Not talking policies, just his overall demeanor. I mean, I thought this was considered morally deplorable behavior?
