I don't think most have over inflated ideas of what they're capable of doing. I'm sure some do. Most don't. I think there's also a misunderstanding about what many veterans are qualified to do as well as a lack of respect from many employers. And I'm sticking to that regardless of what you think. There was a even research done by Duke University on this topic. I'll take their word over yours.

It's not a handful of stocks. The trend is not great. The first to go would be tech because the employment is inflated. We are in many bubbles and one of them is job market. Rise in expenses and likely revenue loss due to inflation across many industries will cause cut backs in wages. Add to the real wages trending negative, this economy is not strong at all and the job market is already showing to be affected. Like everything else you boast about, this'll slap you across the face too.
