They do seem to eat an insane amount of ‘coneys’ from sonic.. we don’t think they cook

Anybody got a good mule or old fashioned recipe? Looking for a signature cocktail for a wedding

Muddle quarter orange in a shaker. Best if you zest the orange peel.
Add 1 Luxardo cherry and muddle some more.
Add a few dashes of Black Walnut bitters.
Add a few dashes of vanilla extract (or slice open a vanilla bean and muddle).
Add a small amount of maple syrup rather than simple syrup.
Add bourbon or rye. I go by sight.
Shake real well.
Add Topo Chico or other carbonated water. Again, I go by sight.
Shake or stir lightly not to have it explode.
Poor over a glass with ice.
Add an orange slice and another Luxardo cherry.
Enjoy.
