President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Kamala Harris full 20 minute speech to commemorate the Roe v Wade decision from local Tallahassee news. Not breaks or cuts. It doesn't have many views.

Apparently you have to click to watch directly on youtube.

No thanks. I don't want to start my day having to listen to dumber #2 on a early Monday.
I may circle-back to this later this afternoon when I may be able to stomach her idiocy.

Still dealing in No accountability & with No transparency from Biden's admin on the southern border crisis they continue with lies & disinformation each day & every week that goes by.
This admin is so incompetent & has no clue how to correct their terrible policies so they keep the blame on others for their failures hoping americans will believe their constant crap of lies.

Biden Administration Places Blame on GOP for Record-High Border Numbers

Joe's still crushing those job numbers really good these days. I thought EL was posting tweets & saying Joe was adding thousands of jobs not having them being taken away so quickly.
I guess Ron Klain was just, you know, tweeting out lies about the great job growth from Biden.

Spotify to lay off 6% of workforce as number of tech job cuts grows

Google parent company Alphabet to eliminate 12,000 jobs

Microsoft cutting 10,000 workers as tech layoffs mount

Over 25,000 global tech workers laid off since start of 2023

Debt ceilings, balanced budget resolutions have done nothing to break the addiction of politicians spending our future. Eliminating an ineffectual cap on spending won't even be noticeable.

At this point, I now blame the voting populace just as much if not more than the politicians, it is those pulling the lever time after time for the same rogues that are bankrupting us daily that need to come to their senses. No need to expect anything different if we continually vote in fiscal criminals.

Everyone hates those in congress. Except the guy/gal they voted for last time. Funny how stupid we are.

Well our senators didn't vote for the omnibus bill but at least one or both did support McConnell which is almost as bad. For what it's worth, I don't know if Scott was the answer but maybe we start a "anybody but McConnell" push.

So how close to the end of the Tytler fiscal cycle do you think we've reached?

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy"

When you think about it, voting for the same senators and representative is really a lot like rooting for the Vols during that stretch of abysmal coaches. They might not give you much satisfaction, but they appear to do better by you than the rest of congress. In the end we are really the ones to blame because we don't demand better - or recognize that better isn't what our "representatives" "give us". Wanting our "fair share" isn't unreasonable in many ways; the problem is that the country can't afford it.

Report: Illegal MS-13 Gang Member, Accused of Murdering Kayla Hamilton, Was Freed into U.S. by Biden’s DHS

Screen-Shot-2023-01-22-at-5.49.29-PM-640x480.png

An illegal alien MS-13 gang member accused of murdering 20-year-old Kayla Marie Hamilton last summer in Aberdeen, Maryland, had been reportedly freed into the United States by President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after arriving at the southern border.

As Breitbart News reported last week, the Aberdeen Police Department arrested a 17-year-old illegal alien MS-13 Gang member from El Salvador in connection with Hamilton’s murder. He is expected to be charged with first-degree murder. Police have not released the suspect’s full identity to the public.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials confirmed to police that the suspect is an illegal alien from El Salvador and is listed in the nation’s database of MS-13 gang members.

energy sec granholm timeline

october 2021 - blames opec for high gas prices
nov 2021 - she has no magic wand to fix high gas prices
june 2022 - blames putin for $5 gas
jan 2023 - blames the GOP for high gas prices

Meanwhile congress, granholm, etc ignore a big part of the energy cost problem ... speculation. I just read an article pointing out that NG prices have dropped because the weather here and in Europe has been relatively mild. Since it was a pro market piece, the solution, of course, was to limit supply and about investors getting back in in anticipation of better returns. That makes sense if you see markets as an investment tool, but that wasn't the original purpose for the markets ... they became a useful tool for speculation. The country needs cheap energy; everything works far better with cheap energy; that means everybody does better when energy prices are low. Speculation and market manipulation benefit the few at the expense of everyone. Cost driven inflation through market manipulation has very significant and very real long term consequences.

Natural supply and demand regulate markets and set prices. Manipulated supply whether CEOs making poor long term decisions to benefit from short term profits, absurd government policy throwing some energy sources into disfavor, or investors shunning necessary long term energy development for quick easy returns do none of us any good in the long run.

Short term decisions will be the death of this country, because those making the decisions are the ones making all the money and frankly, they don't give a damn about 99% of the population, it's all about them.
