As I said earlier, I would have to do the math. Adding $30 to every $100 of groceries would be a tough pill to swallow for a lot of people.

IMO McCarthy is allowing this to come to a vote because he knows there is no way it's going to pass and he can then say to the 20 he kept his word while flipping them the bird.

Farmers have been flooding the market taking advantage of the higher prices and offsetting higher expenses. It will come back around to bite us in the azz just like the “low” fuel prices of 2020.
