Players opting out for social injustice, black on black violence is at an all time high in our country. I served my county in time of need as an Army specialist and as a civilian contractor in Afghanistan. I severed my country proudly which I love dearly but what is going on in our society today is a shame. Black Lives Matter, but why do we have to place it as Black lives matter? Why not all lives matter. We still haven't gotten over what happened 400 years ago. Wanna talk about social injustice, what did we do to the American Indians? What did Egypt do to the Jews? What did Hitler do to them? Whoa is me is an attitude that needs to leave our country and we get back to being the greatest nation on the planet, but until this stupid blame everyone or everything but yourself finds it way out the system, nothing will ever change.

My wife and I have raised a son (legal guardian) that is black! I don't see his color only that I love him as much if not more than I love my own kids at times. He is a part of us and will always be but he also has questions as to dad, mom, why cant we all live together. This splendid young man is 23 years old and he gets it. Times are trying but racial tension has NO PLACE IN OUR SOCIETY As Morgan Freeman said...... and I loosely quote,"Until we see each other as men, and women, with no racial barriers, our country isn't going anywhere." We need to look at others as we all look at ourselves regardless of race and creed! Jesus spoke to his disciples and told them to love each other as he had loved them. Can we not follow our lord and saviors advice?

If people want to kneel during the anthem, having severed in the military, I support their right and defended it to express themselves. If we don't take strides to achieve a peace between races I see no way for America to ever be great again and our society will never evolve into a state where everyone cares for everyone. One quick thought when you feel the hatred boil inside you when it comes to social injustice or race tensions, ask yourself what Christ would do.

My daughter is black. Of course you see his color. Just a profoundly stupid thing to say. By saying that it’s like you are saying I don’t think they will have a different world experience then you will.

I don't believe it's that people cannot get over 400, 200 or 50 years ago. They cannot get over what they've been told how to feel about something of which they have little to no knowledge or perspective. There are people who derive their power and wealth from keeping people stirred up and fighting against "the other side."

A good example of this type of issue is abortion. The last thing in the world those on the left or right in positions of power want to do is find a reasonable position that the majority of people can live with and ignore the fringes who froth at the mouth.

Conflating racism and slavery doesn't work out so well. Lynchings were going on in this country into 1960s. Jim crow, and institutional racism were all prominent in the 20th century. Saying that the people who suffered through this should just "get over it" is extremely callous if nothing else. Evil action demands atonement.

It's still prominent today in the form of low expectations and social welfare.

Christ definetely wouldn't write a 500 word rant only calling out SJW's for racial issues in this country, that's for damn sure.
