Used to be the class clown did the outrageous stuff because that was the only way he could get attention and feed his ego. Now it seems like almost every kid is a class clown, and it's being provoked by some adults who should know better. I still think adult liberals are people who never developed beyond the toddler and tantrum stage, and they are trying hard to convince each other they are the coolest, best educated, most qualified, and wisest people on the planet.

Ever get the impression that dems see the DOJ as part of the administration based on which party runs the administration? As I recall in Trump's day, dems were sure that the DOJ, FBI. etc should be independent.

Uhhh... you do know that the intelligence agencies and the military answer to the executive branch, right... not the other way around? Of course, I'm speaking in theory, because we know that intelligence agencies can find ways to get you 6 ways from Sunday (Chuck Schumer).

Last time I checked, the heads of the military and intelligence agencies were selected by the chief executive, which means in essence, the POTUS has just as much reason and ability of declassifying as anyone else.

Or, are you quietly supporting a 4th branch of govt where the intelligence and military agencies act as the check/balance of the other 3 branches?

I guess I'm not sure what you are saying in that sentence I highlighted.

Yes, I'm aware that the military and intelligence agencies fall under the direction of the president. I'm also aware that presidents, especially the ones we've elected in the last 50 years or so couldn't possibly know why a document or a piece of equipment is classified, and as such the president as well as any number of top military leaders should not have the sole ability to declassify. The should certainly have the authority to direct or request that something be declassified IF it is reasonable to do so.

I'm not suggesting the military or intelligence agencies should be unaccountable or rogue forces. Just simply, classified materials were classified for a reason and should remain so unless the reasons for classification no longer apply; it's doubtful that any president is going to have the facts or take time to go into the necessary detail. Would you suggest that a president have unilateral authority to force the release of NSA phone recordings? You think there wouldn't be any abuse in doing so?

Remember Biden's blunder about the secret bunker at the Naval Observatory (home of the VP) when he was VP? You trust him to know what should and shouldn't be classified? My point is there should be a process and procedures, and the the president should have to follow the same rules as everyone else with respect to classified materials.

While there are some older liberals who are nice, sweet hippies 😂 but when they are of the stunted growth or sanctimonious attitude variety it does throw me off and make me not want to be around them…

I understand your sentiment to an extent. But under the system we have now where the intelligence agencies and military are under the executive branch, it is difficult. Pragmatically, you would possibly (???) have to get the legislature involved as a check/balance to do what you are suggesting.

Since this is now the third instance of finding documents at that residence it’s a glaring example of DOJ partisanship for Biden that the FBI isn’t beating down their door with a search warrant. As well as searching all the places Puddin Head has had office or storage space since 2008.

Recipe came from an elderly Indian woman….aww hell, I meant indigenous birthing person, that DOCTOR Jill Biden lived with in the Pocono Mountains every summer and two weeks in the winter in the bitter cold. She learned to build shelter for herself, harvested wild collards and other greens, hunted Elk with bow and arrow and etched her dissertation, along with numerous recipes learned from her mentor, into the walls of numerous caves…only recently discovered.

FBI raids are just for republicans and their supporters; they can't be trusted, you know, and dems are pure of heart.
