I was more throwing out the theory that they don't even want his hat anywhere near the ring. A nip it in the bud approach. (got my idioms flowing today)
Here's an excerpt from the newly minted $1.7 Trillion dollar spendapalooza that the Congress just passed.
• Improvements to our aviation system by providing $19 billion for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), $564 million above fiscal year 2022, including $1.6 billion for Aviation Safety and $558.6 million for discretionary Airport Improvement Grants and projects.
I used to work for a pretty large corporation that had revenue in the $30 billion dollar range, and we never had servers crap out due to lack of funding to keep them upgraded. I couldn't imagine having a spending allowance of $19 Billion, we would have been sh!tting in high cotton with that kind of allowance.

If they make the politicians empty their pockets when they leave office, we'd probably be out of debt. Just about everyone of them are millions richer than when they started. Why else do they pay millions of dollars to win a job that pays $175,000 a yearThey squander it all..Really. Like I said before if a nation is $31T in debt, it should be pretty up to snuff on infrastructure. And that doesn't include the actual money that was not borrowed, and all the state taxes.
The damn burecaracy and regulations make $1B projects become $5B projects. So freaking wasteful. The owners of Keystone XL learned that..as well as Solyndra.
I will always remember the submariner getting jail time for an innocuous mistake while clowns like Biden and Hillary get to intentionally violate every infosec law known in this country and... nothing.Isn't it interesting that the National Archives staff didn't even know classified documents were missing? Or were joe's people illegally copying them? This is a problem. What good does it do to classify documents if nobody tracks them and apparently anybody can move them wherever they please? As I recall Hiliary brushed off the security training she was supposed to have had. Why do we classify anything and hold military and intelligence agencies responsible if the visiting staff (the people elected and appointed by those elected) leak like a fire hose?
