I think the Mississippi State game finish was crazier. But yeah the Tulane finish was crazy. The end of that USC game was INSANE. uSC coach Riley absolutely sheit the bed. They were up 15 points on Tulane (2nd best team in state of LA) with 4mins and change....Tulane scores a long TD. Kicks ball to the 1yd line where SC returner fumbles it out of bounds...instead of calling a QB sneak or FB dive play to be safe and smart like every other football coach in history...they run a play where the QB turns around at the snap and PITCHES the ball straight backwards 5 or 6 yards to their tailback!! When dude caught the pitch, he had 2 defensive tackles directly in front of him 3 or 4 yards deep in the endzone for an immediate SAFETY!!! So then Tulane is only down 6 points with 2:30 to go and 1 timeout...and everyone on planet Earth knew what was gonna happen next. Tulane drives the field for the TD and kicks the PAT to win by 1 point!! Tulane scored 16 unanswered points and held USC to -4 yards in the last 4:30 of that game. Tulane went from a 2-10 season last year to 11-2 this season in the biggest turn around in FBS history...sadly their coach may win national COYear award over our own Coach Hype...
It was tied 10-10 with 7 seconds left in the game. Game ends 19-10 Mississippi State.
Mississippi was set up for FG. Make it. 4 seconds left. Kick off is short no return 3 seconds left at maybe their own 30. QB doesnt have the arm (who besides Milton does). Illinois tries the old lateral/back yard gameplay. Ball gets successfully tossed at least 5 times, before getting intercepted. Ball returned for a TD. Game ends 19-10
